Fresh 2025 Harvested Seed!

70 Mixed Helleborus seeds taken from our large collection of Orientalis hybrids built up over the years. A mixture of colours from green and white through to chocolate with varying amounts of painting and speckling. Pictures show some of the parent plants. Early bees love them!

Sow immediately on receipt. Please note that like many early flowers these seeds require cold exposure and may be slow or erratic to germinate- do NOT throw away pots if they don't come up straight away! Sow in pots on receipt and protect from disturbance from birds and mice and ensure that they are exposed to the elements rather than cosseted in a greenhouse or conservatory. They typically germinate in the colder months in line with the plant's growing season so please be patient if you purchase at other times of year.
