It has a three-pass blackout coating offering complete light exclusion and extra protection from the sunlight.
Its thermal properties keep sound levels down and the heat in and cold out.

The level of blackout is measured in 'passes'. Blackout linings and coatings are created by running a fine layer of foam across the back of a fabric. A three pass lining means that a layer of white foam is applied to the back of the curtain fabric, then a black one, followed by another layer of white.
Pass 3 equates to total blackout of light.
