A set of three hardcover books bound in contemporary teree calf. The spines have been neatly REBACKED with newer leather, probably from the later 19th century, with gilt decorations and red morocco spine labels. The edges are scuffed, darkened, and a bit crackly-looking. Tiny chip off the top corner of page 277 in volume 2. Occasional small age-related blemishes, but otherwise, pages clean and binding tight across the set.
