Curtiss Hawk Mod 75 (P36)
A 38" wingspan 1/12 scale UC model for .29-.45 engines
The Curtiss P-36 Hawk, also known as the Curtiss Hawk Model 75, was an American-designed and built fighter aircraft of the 1930s and 40s. Perhaps best known as the predecessor of the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, the P-36 saw little combat with the United States Army Air Forces during World War II but was manufactured in significant numbers and used by several foreign air forces. The model shown here, designed by Paul Palanek, is a 34" wingspan sport scale control line model powered by a .35 CID glow engine. Construction is robust and straightforward, and the end result would be a rugged sport scale control line aircraft.
