Der von 1979 bis 1990 in Hannover gebaute VW Bus T3 ( EA 162 ) erfreute sich als letzter "echter" VW mit zunächst luftgekühltem Boxermotor im Heck bis zum Ende seiner Bauzeit großer Beliebtheit. Von 1990 bis 1992 wurde der T3 noch als Behörden- und Syncroversion bei Steyr in Österreich weiter produziert.

Zum endgültigen Ende der Bauzeit wurde dann eine kleine limitierte Auflage von 2.500 fein ausgestatteten Bussen als Limited Last Edition in dern Farben tornadorot und orlyblau aufgelegt.

Diese gesuchten Top-Busse gibt es jetzt hier im großen Modellautoscale 1:18 - in limitierter Serie von 1.750 blauen und 1.250 roten pcsn (500 mehr als in Natura gebaut wurden - aber die reichten damals nicht, so daß VW noch eine allerallerallerletzte Serie von je 500 Bluestar und Redstar Modellen für Werksangehörige nachschob - aber das ist eine andere Geschichte).

Size of the models: the scale indicates the size of the model car.
1:43 means 1cm model = 43cm in reality. A 1:43 scale model of a car that measures 4,80 meter in reality measures appr. 11 cm (4.3 inch).
1:18 means 1cm model = 18cm in reality. A 1:18 scale model of a car that measures 4,80 meter in reality measures appr. 27 cm (10.4 inch).
Other scales accordingly. To get an exact idea about the size of the individual models you could check the size of the real car in the Internet and divide it by the scale mentioned.

material: most model cars are made of zinc diecasting with attaching parts of plastic.
Recently some models in resine have been released. This material gives the opportunity of lower lot sizes and therefore allows to get rare originals as models.

packaging: All models are new and mint in box.
scale 1:43 models are usually mounted on a plastic base plate and covered with an acrylic cover (declared as "delivery in acrylic show case"). Models without this declaration are mounted in a more simnple covering box (mostly board box with viewing window; blister box in some cases). Please feel free to ask for details if you wish to get more detailed packing information about this item .
1:24 scale models are regularly mounted on a solid base plate in a board box with viewing window.

1:18 scale models are either mounted on a solid base plate in a board box with viewing window or they come in a protective styrofoam block surrounded by a board box (this kind of packeage does not show the model - it´s just a transport and storage protection - all resin models come in such a package).
