Bruce Fox was born in America in 1903 and died in 1960. In 1937 he set up a small shop in New Albany, Indiana, making decorative embossed aluminum and copper plaques mounted in wood frames. After World War II, he set up a larger facility to design and produce plaques and a line of cast aluminum and copper giftware. In 1975 the company sold the giftware rights to Wilton Armetale
