Engine reinforcement steel plate, designed to strengthen engine block and prevent oil starvation.
The original 650cc (all 2cyl) engine block is quite weak due to its open engine block design, any power greater than stock, will make the engine main bearings “float” and bend, resulting in engine bearing damage and reduction in its lifetime.
An extra plate in the engine oil pan is also used to ensure that on hard cornering, braking, and acceleration oil stays where it should be – in the bottom of the engine pan, where it can be picked up by the oil pump. Simple solution for a very serious problem, don't risk damaging your engine due to oil starvation.
The plate will be directly bolt-on, no modifications are necessary.
