These Plugs are sold by a big retailer for £6.99 each!

Please note:- you do need some soldering skills to fit these as you do for all of the DIY lighter plugs

Also as with all Lighter Plugs you need to fully push into socket firmly.

Warning: These do need to be soldered on to a cable, some times scrapping and tinning the connection. 
They do need to inserted as all lighter plugs firmly into the socket to get a good connection.
If not inserted correctly and you draw any reasonable current they will get hot, Very hot and could even Melt!
 Make sure your socket is in good condition, tobacco in socket can cause a problem and corrosion of the socket centre terminal.
It is also advisable to check resistance through the centre connection which should be zero, If not check your assembly of the connector.
These plugs are fitted with a 3A Fuse but we recommend if you are only going to draw a few Amps you reduce the fuse value accordingly, They use a 6x30mm Glass Fuse

All Switches Need to be de-rated depending on use, Resistive, Inductive or Capacitive. The more Current Switched the hotter the arc and the greater the erosion will be on Contacts. We Will not replace Switches that have failed due to burnt contacts or broken mechanically due to burnt contacts. The more you de-rate the longer your switch will last!
