KILN DRIED

Our Posh Logs are kiln dried to stabilise the wood and ensure it is in the best condition for displays. Some logs will have cracks or splits as a result of the kiln drying process.

HOW MANY POSH LOGS DO I NEED?  Do the maths or alternatively go directly to Posh Logs  'Log Box Calculator' on the Posh Logs website found on google.

The maths: Work out the area you want to fill (length x width in centimetres) divide it by the area of this box (1350cm).

SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE!

Images are for illustration, exact colour and shape varies with natural variation. Some logs may have small splits or cracks from the drying process. Variation of bark, colour and shape may vary due to natural variation. Our hand selected hardwood rounds give a rich texture and ultimate quality. Log diversity is something to celebrate!

There may be some liken or moss on the bark but the ends are clean cut. The logs can be wire brushed or sanded on the ends to give a cleaner finish.

BARK ON!  Where possible the bark is left on to keep the organic display looking natural.
