• GAS COOKTOP WITH ELECTRIC OVEN TIMER (DUAL FUEL)
    Stove turn off products can increase cooking safety for those with dementia who still have good stove skills and judgement but occasionally tend to forget. The set comes with a timer and an automatic stove shut-off system. 
     
    [Please note: The timer controls the power to the gas cooktop and the electric oven at the same time for the pre-set time period. If you require the gas cooktop and the electric oven to have separate set times, two timers will be required: one for gas cooktop and one for electric oven.]
     
    The kit enables you to use your electric cooktop and electric upright cooker for the desired set time.  The timer duration can be set by the electrician to any specified time range between 10 to 240 minutes. The most common time set is 20 minutes. The switch will be labelled with the pre-set time duration and located within 1000mm of the appliance. The timer isolates the unit after the pre-set timer duration.
     
    To use the cooktop or cooker with timer:
    1. Press the timer switch (timer indicator light will illuminate)
    2. Turn the gas stove knob to the on position

    Timer duration: The unit allows you to set the time (in minutes) you want the food to be left cooking unattended. 
     
    Turning stove back on: Once the stove has been automatically turned off after the pre-set duration, the stove must be manually turned off and back on again.
