15 Piece Vintage Indestro Socket Set + Tool Box + Vintage Indestro 7/16 Combo Wrench
  • Set has been in a box for more than 20 years.  
  • I don't know if all of these tools came with this box originally.  These tools were in this box when I opened it, with the exception of #16.  I added #16.  For description of #16, please see below. 
  • Tools are in very good condition, with working 1/2" drive ratchet. 
  • 12 sockets, 12 point, drive ratchet, swivel extension, extension & spark plug socket. 
  • I added an Indestro 7/16 wrench, open & 12 point box end. 
  • Socket set has minor scratches, nicks, soiling and scuffs.  
  • No owner's marks.

  • All sockets have embossed on them INDESTRO, U.S.A.
  • Sockets have the size, and additional numbers embossed them.  Additional numbers in parentheses, listed below. 
  • Numbers preceded by a hashtag, are my black & white numbers in the photos.

# 11 - Swivel Extension 
  • Length - 2 9/16"
  • Swivel moves just fine. 

# 12 & # 13 - Extension and Socket 
  • # 12 - Extension has dings on the edge, photo 11. 
  • # 13 - Embossed on socket - 6014 INDESTRO 7/16 U.S.A. 

# 14 - 13/16" Spark Plug Socket
  • Embossed on socket - 6626HS INDESTRO U.S.A. 
  • Length - 2 3/8"

# 15 - 1/2" Drive Ratchet 
  • Length - 10 1/4"
  • Embossed on ratchet - 6472, INDESTRO, U.S.A.
  • Ratchet works, shift lever is easy to move.  
  • Looks like ratchet is missing one screw to the right of the shift lever.  

# 16 - I added the following wrench to this group, it did not originally come with the set listed above. 

Vintage Indestro Wrench.  Open & 12 Point Box End, 7/16   
  • Embossed on one side - INDESTRO, 7/16 FORGED U.S.A. 
  • Embossed on other side - 1072, 7/16
  • Wrench has scratches, dings, patina and some of the chrome has worn off. 
  • Length - 5 1/16"

Original Tool Box
  • Dimensions - 12 1/2" x 6 1/4" x 1 3/4"
  • Box is made of a hard plastic. 
  • Overall, this original Indestro tool box is in good solid condition. 
  • Box has scratches, nicks, soiling, scuffs & top of lid edge looks like it has melted a little bit.  Box closes just fine.  It does not click shut, so the lid top is elevated a little bit above the bottom, when lid is closed.  Photos 4 & 9.  
  • Back hinge has cracks, the length of the case, photo 10.  The cracks do not go all the way through to the inside of the case.  The lid is very securely attached to the case. 
  • Box has 2 holes on the side, I don't know if these were there originally, or added later.  Photo 6. 

Overall, this a very nice vintage Indestro set, in very good condition.
