This beautiful rustic Chorreador will go with you wherever you go, the Traveler, as it is called, will suit your needs both indoors and outdoors. All you need is a bag or "bolsa" (included) to brew, a mug or pitcher, ground coffee,boiling water and in just a couple of minutes you will have the best cup of coffee you have ever tasted.
This is one of the simplest ways to make coffee. Place Bag in the holder and your cup underneath the bag. Start with one tablespoon of medium to fine ground coffee and 6-8 oz. of hot water. Pour hot water slowly through the bag and your coffee will brew.

The Chorreador is made of Costa Rican Laurel wood. The Laurel Tree is a tropical hardwood species that is widespread over the Central Volcanic Range, the Pacific coast, the northern zone and the Caribbean side of Costa Rica. The tree grows under a wide variety of ecological conditions and soils,as well as from sea level to 1200 m (3937 feet) close to the Central Valley. The properties of this wood is similar to those of Mahogany;easily worked, easy to preserve, and has a high natural durability.

We are including one bag or "bolsa" with your Chorreador. It is handmade with cotton flannel of excellent quality and serves as the coffee strainer.Additional ones are sold separately. They are not to be washed with any kind of soap but just rinsed with water let it air dry and keep it in your fridge. The color will change to brown the first time you use it, this is normal, it is the color of the coffee. You can keep it as long as you want.To replace it, just order the number of bags you want and we will be happy to send them to you.
