How many badges can you earn? Seventy-two, if you really know your stuff! There are three types of badge: Field Skills (for correctly identifying things from around the park), Research Skills (for helping researchers), and Park Knowledge (for correctly answering questions at the Visitor Centers). As you earn more badges, you progress through the Junior Ranger, Park Ranger, and finally, to the Head Ranger level.
It's the next best thing to a real visit to the park!
