ITEM DESCRIPTION-

Hendrickson Nymph, Bead Head Hendrickson Nymph, Hendrickson Mayfly Nymph

This is a killer Hendrickson nymph developed by Capt. Ken Tutalo and the Baxter House Guide Staff. This pattern was developed in New York's Catskills and Upper Delaware River system. This is a killer pattern when fished just prior to, or during the Hendrickson hatches that occur every year in April and May.  This is a fairly large Mayfly nymph and it will be effective in any waters where larger Mayflies are present.

The need for a somewhat specific Hendrickson nymph was always a quest with our guides. In the end this is the pattern that gets it done on the river. Our addition of the hot spot also makes it a good choice as an all around searching nymph.

This fly is offered in both Bead Head and Non Bead styles. I especially like to fish the Bead Head with the non bead running on a dropper about 12" - 15" behind it.

Offered in packs of three, Half Dozens and Full Dozens. Also available in a selection which has 3 of each style. Choose the amount from the drop down menu

These are tied on size #12 hooks which match the size of the natural Hendrickson Nymphs. This is also a good size nymph for most Trout waters around the Country.

About Capt. Ken's Custom Flies and Baxter House Outfitters

Capt. Ken and the majority of our guides are FULL-TIME Fly-Fishing Guides and Instructors. We are on the water every day, so we know what flies work and when.

The flies that we stock in our Fly Shop are chosen with only one attribute in mind, their effectiveness at invoking confident takes from large wild fish. I believe that the design components in many of our custom flies are the difference on tough days and when dealing with pressured fish.

We have a solid network of Fly Tyers, many of the relationships with these craftsmen span decades. You can expect our flies to be well above the quality of the average imports you find in most online catalogs. All our flies are backed by our no questions asked money back guarantee.

Shipping Policy

There is no such thing as free shipping. When shopping on EBAY, Amazon and other platforms you either pay for shipping directly or pay for an item with hidden shipping added to the items cost, either way you pay.

We have chosen to charge directly for shipping. We do this as a service to our customers.

If you buy several low-cost items (flies) with free shipping, you will pay hidden costs for shipping on every single item you purchase. If you buy from us, you will always pay only one flat rate shipping fee regardless of the amount of items you purchase, one fly or a hundred same cost.

Currently the cost of shipping flies to most USA addresses is $4.50 to $6.50.  This cost is for USPS first class mail with tracking. We must ship this way to comply with EBAY and other platforms policies and their defect rating systems. Currently our listings have a SHIPPING FEE of $4.50 which is at the lower end of the postage cost. We do not charge handling or costs for shipping materials.

COMBINED SHIPPING

We will always combine shipping. On all Fly purchases $4.50 is the maximum shipping we will charge regardless of the number of flies in your order. Many times, EBAY will charge shipping on every item. This is a glitch we have been dealing with for years.  If this is occurring, please make your purchase and pay. We will refund the shipping overcharges at the time of processing. All shipping fees paid past $4.50 will be refunded.

Larger Items- Rods, Reels and Accessories

For larger parcels and parcels that require special packaging we list with Calculated shipping to your mailing address. The costs are determined by the items’ actual weight and the size of the shipping carton. (there is no combined shipping on larger items)
