Kendall 9022 Versalon 2 x 2 Inch All Purpose Sponge Gauze, 4 Ply offers an economical and versatile sponge for wound care and more. The polyester and rayon blend with 4-ply construction makes this gauze sponge 40 percent heavier than imported gauze brands. The weight and ply adds greater patient comfort when placed against the wound as a dressing or used to clean the wound.
As an all purpose sponge, it's low linting and highly absorbent making it ideal for wiping needles and cleaning slides or other medical equipment. Covidien packages the sponges with 200 sponges per pack.
