Garlic 'Provence Wight' bulbs produce a vigorous, white softneck garlic that is really large and sweet.Originally from the fertile valleys of Drome region of Provence, this variety of garlic is proven to grow well in the UK.The fat, juicy cloves are perfect for adding some Mediterranean flavour to both vegetable and fish dishes.Plant garlic cloves from September onwards. Once lifted, will keep until January.Height: 60cm (24"). Spread: 15cm (6").

Growing Garlic

Note: Please keep the cloves out of the packet and keep them in a cool & dry place until planting. (If the skin is peeled off, they will still grow but not if the clove is damaged)

Grow garlic in a warm, sunny spot, in fertile, well-drained soil that doesn’t get too wet in winter. Plant garlic cloves in autumn or early spring, planting individual cloves 18cm apart at twice their own depth. Keep the area weed free, water when dry and harvest from July onwards.
