What is a carbon block water filter cartridge?
It's usually placed as the third stage of the water filtration system to remove Residual Chlorine, Chemicals, VOCs, Bad Taste from well water / hard water / city water / municipal water / drinking water, etc.

Reliable Material:
Carbon Block Filter is composed of food-grade coconut shell carbon block, dense PP food-grade non-woven fabric, and PE outer net. Food-grade coconut shell activated carbon with high adsorption capacity, COMPATIBLE WITH NSF/ANSI 42 CERTIFICATION and BPA FREE. The PP non-woven fabric can prevent carbon powder leakage during filtration to avoid re-comtamination of filtered water and prolong the life-span. The food-grade silicone o-rings prevent leaks with good sealing performance.

High Efficiency Adsorption:
CTO water filter not only effectively remove parts of sediments, but also effictively adsorb 90-99% free chlorine, taste & odors, hydrogen sulfide and other unpleasant smells, heavy metals (such as lead, manganese, iron),to improve drinking water quality, making it much fresher and providing your family with a much positive life style.

Long Life-span:
Sintered Carbon Block Water Filter with 5 micron service time can be last as long as 6 months or filtration capacity up to 10,000-15,000 gallons depending on your water quality, you'd better replace this water filter every 3 or 6 months for better whole house water quality. Please flush the carbon water cartridge and drain 3-5 gallons water before putting into operation.

Warm Notes:
1. Cartridges may contain a very small amount of carbon fines (very fine black powder). After installation, follow the instructions for flushing the cartridge to remove the fines before using the water. You should flush the tap at least 20 seconds prior to using water for drinking or cooking purposes. This is particularly important if the tap has not been used daily.
2. This filter needs to be replaced regularly. Otherwise, it willcause secondary pollution of water.
3. Do not use with water that is micro-biologically unsecurity or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
