This is a rebuild service for your Seastar Steering cylinder. We only want your cylinder. If we receive your cylinder by noon we will have it rebuilt that same day and sent out to you Via UPS Our Shipping address is Five Star Marine INC ( 6902 Industrial Ave Port Richey FL 34668 )

Simply drop your unit off in a box via UPS or Fedex  (UPS preferred)

 Please allow 4-5 Business Days for us to rebuild your unit. This time can be extended in the spring and summer due to the high volume during our peak season overall our turn time is usually great. When this component is complete we will give you a call to confirm your address etc and we will ship it out UPS ground.

We will replace your caps/glands with new ones that have been manufactured by us and are much better than the OEM. We have found the OEM seals on these last 4-8 years before they deteriorate and literally crumble. We spend the money and go the extra mile to ensure we do a great job and that the rebuilt unit that leaves our facility will out live the OEM by 20 or so years. 

If your actuator is in rough shape but mechanically still intact we may want to sandblast and epoxy coat the cylinder to it stays fresh in whatever environment you're in. This process is very intensive and takes about 3-5 days. Using a special epoxy formulated for bare metal surfaces is the best protection you can get in the industry. This will be an additional $150 if you decide to have this done. 


If your cylinder is frozen solid from corrosion or has holes in it from corrosion please do not send it in, we do an amazing job here but we are not magicians and we do not use JB weld or attempt to weld and reshape parts to make them function for a short period of time. Our crew has decades of experience in the marine industry and if we don't feel its going to last long term we will not build it as our reputation is everything.
