What is a carbon block water filter cartridge?

It's usually placed as the third stage of the water filtration system to remove Residual Chlorine, Chemicals, VOCs, Bad Taste from well water / hard water / city water / municipal water / drinking water, etc.

It is widely used in household water purifier and business direct water dispenser.

FOOD GRADE EFFICIENCY FILTRATION:

Effectively removes 97% sediment, chlorine, organic chemicals and odor, etc. Flow Rate: 2GPM; Filter Medium: Extruded Activated Carbon; Applicable pH value:1-14.

ENSURE SAFE WATER SUPPLY:

LOW PRESSURE DROP:

Max. Pressure: 80 psi; Max Temperature: 104°F (40°C). This filter is usually installed in the whole house filtration system after the pre-filter or before water softener system, keep the water clean and tasty. Best choice to treat well water, municipal water, city water, drinking water, etc.

3-6 MONTH SERVICE LIFETIME:

Filters up to 15,000 gallons water, usually replace TWO or Three times a year, depending on the water quality and the type of water. It's time to replace filter when the taste of the water is odorous or the water flow is reduced. Recommended for use with melt blown cartridges to extended service life.

WARM NOTES:

*Cartridges may contain a very small amount of carbon fines (very fine black powder). After installation, follow the instructions for flushing the cartridge to remove the fines before using the water. You should flush the tap at least 20 seconds prior to using water for drinking or cooking purposes. This is particularly important if the tap has not been used daily.

*This filter needs to be replaced regularly. Otherwise, it will breed bacteria easily and cause secondary pollution of water.

*Do not use with water that is micro-biologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
