FUJIMI real sports car series RS-88 1/24 "Porsche 917K" 1971 Le Mans winner Martini car No.22
Porsche 917 is the 70's legendary prototype racing car that was developed in 1969. Porsche 908 (1968) was not able to surpass the Ford GT40.
This 917 is equipped with 4,500 cc horizontal V12 cylinder engine. The 917K short body version had a great success for 2 years 1970 & 1971 by winning the 24-hour Le Mans race, and also by becoming the champion at the international manufacturers championship.
From 1971, because of regulation adjustment, the arena has been changed to the North American Can-Am series, and many variations such as open body and turbo engine equipped version machines were made.
FUJIMI released several variation of "Porsche 917K" through "Historic racing car series" and also "Real sports car series".
This model reproduced "Martini" coloring in 1971 Le Mans.
