Title: Lettres de Madame de Maintenon, 1753
Author: Madame de Maintenon
Publisher: Chez Deilleau
Condition: Good

A mid 18th century printing of the supposed letters of Françoise d'Aubigné, Marquise de Maintenon, who was the second wife to Louis XIV of France. The letters have often fallen under question as to whether they were truly authentic, as the Madame de Maintenon never published them herself.

Two volumes finely bound into one 12mo, 205+201 pages

On note of condition, this volume is in good shape, with wear and rubbing noted at the corners, as well along the edges. There is some chipping to the title on the spine. There is little to no foxing or staining present throughout.

I typically ship within 1-2 business days of receiving payment.
