the DESIGN, the COLOUR, the WORDS on the front and the inside and the price
stays the same regardless of how many changes you make, to ensure it is perfect
and BESPOKE for the recipient!
How to Buy
1. Select your preferred design from the drop-down menu (the design will be
scaled to fit your chosen card size)
2. Select the card size. The price will change depending on the
size (the photo will not change when you click the size, but scroll through
the listing photos to see a comparison diagram of the 3 card sizes).
3. Purchase the card (choose your desired postage speed on
the checkout page, the default is 2nd class but if you need it
quicker, choose 1st class or express)
4. Message seller with the following information (please copy
and paste the following questions into your eBay message so you remember to
answer them all)…
Please ignore if the listing says it is the last one...it is NOT, this
only appears because the listing shows one available at a time.
If you want to buy one of the designs shown in the additional listing
photos that does not appear in the drop-down purchase options, simply ‘contact
the seller’ as these can all be purchased.
All your personalisation details will be confirmed before making your
card together with a dispatch date, so please CHECK YOUR EBAY MESSAGES in case
there are questions. So, do not worry if you have forgotten something or
misspelled a word, there is time to correct it before your card is made.
Your personalised card
All cards can be fully customised to your precise specifications. You
can have absolutely any words you like, you can change names, dates, ages,
relation etc. Maybe include nicknames, so that you express exactly what you
would like to say. Say, an example design is shown for 50th Sister with a
gardening theme, it can be made for 21st Daughter with a Las Vegas theme,
Wedding cards can be made into Anniversary cards, 1st birthday cards can be
made for 3-year-olds, pink new baby cards can be made in blue for a boy, etc...
the choice is endless! The colours used in the designs can be changed, so a
gold design can be made in purple etc.
You can customise many designs with additional embellishments to make
them truly bespoke. Maybe add something to reflect the recipients’ hobbies,
job, holiday destination, hometown, university, make-up, toys, games, movie
characters, cartoons, films, favourite singer, sports team, wedding venue, favourite
food, drinks, party theme, animals, car make & model, number plate, sports
and pastimes. You can be as specific as you like and can even send a list of
changes. No request is too difficult! This makes each card a truly unique
keepsake. If you request a highly personalised design that differs greatly from
the example, we will send you the draft design to approve before gluing
everything down, so you can buy with confidence. No matter how many changes you
require, it is all included in the original price.
Enveloped cards
Each card (A5, A4 & square) comes with a co-ordinating envelope NOT
boxed, UNLESS the listing drop-down says ‘boxed 21x15cm card’. Some photos have
been taken showing the card inside a presentation box, this does not mean your
card will be boxed, unless you buy a boxed card.
Boxed cards
If you would like to buy a boxed card, only the 21x15cm cards can be
boxed. If this listing does not offer a ‘boxed 21x15cm’ drop-down option please
note there is a separate listing to add a presentation box for your card.
Search for eBay item ‘Box to go with your previously purchased personalised
card from First Hand Cards’ (Item ID: 175103973729) Simply, add a 21x15 card
from this listing together with a presentation box to your cart, then checkout
both together. The colour of the box will depend on what is in stock that best
matches your card design, most likely to be white or ivory.
Cardstock colours
The 21x15cm cards are available in these cardstock colours: white,
ivory, pale blue, pink and very pale pink. The square cards and A4 cards only
come in white and ivory.
Ribbon on the spine
You can add a spine ribbon in any colour to most cards, or have your
card without a ribbon. The largest A4 cards are always finished with a wide
spine ribbon and a Dior style flat bow.
Insert page
All cards have an insert sheet which can be left blank or add a message
of your choice. If you would like images printed on the insert which echo the
design on the front, this can be added too. You simply need to ask. Again, no
charge for this.
Postage
Regular delivery: Please select 1st or 2nd class
postage on the checkout page. Your card will be posted by the Ebay deadline shown,
using the postal class you select.
Express delivery: If you need your card in a hurry, please select the
Special/Express delivery postage option on the checkout page and your card will
be made as an express order to reach you within 4 working days (excludes
weekends). For example, order Monday and you will receive your card by Thursday
or Friday. The extra cost of this service is not only for the faster postage –
the extra cost guarantees making and posting it sooner than other orders and
using a tracked delivery service. The postal service used will be a fast tracked
service but is not Royal Mail Special Delivery.
Your delivery will be packaged in either a board envelope or
large letter posting box for protection during posting. The parcel
will fit through most regular letterboxes. If you are posting your card onto
the recipient, please use large letter rates and reuse the board envelope/box
for protection. No overseas delivery. Posting is to UK addresses only.
If you want the card
posted direct to the recipient (not to you) remember to send a message with a
different address and we will send you a photo of how the card looked before it
was posted to them.

Customer Service
Questions are
answered promptly so you can buy with confidence. In the unlikely event that a
mistake is made in the preparation of your card, there is no need to return it,
just send a message and a replacement will be remade and posted as soon as possible.
However, as your personalised card will be made especially for you, returns are
not accepted if you simply change your mind.
