This dress is amazing! An original 1970’s couture made evening dress, made in South Africa, it has had one lady owner, the lady it was made for. What makes this dress so unusual is it’s detachable sleeves.

The bodice is made from black cotton jersey, it is sleeveless with a small turtleneck. The skirt falls from the bodice is a faux silk of two tone silver striped fabric. The skirt is lined and the dress has a fully functioning zip fastening running down the centre back of the garment. The sleeved bodice that attaches under this maxi dress, attaches with poppers at the shoulders. The bodice is made from black polyester lining and the full sleeves from the same two tone faux silk.

This dress is in beautiful, perfect vintage condition.
