Beautifully appointed Seiko 6309-7040 made in August 1979. Awesome ghosting on the bi-directional bezel that is in need of click ball repair; a cheap fix that i kept original currently omni-directional functionality.  The original pip is still intact on the bezel; these tend to fall off with age and there are no replacements that I'm aware of.  The luminous hands and dial have aged really well; giving this piece just the right amount of wear and tear.  The crystal aged amazingly well; covered in a series of very small spider web of scratches that gives a slightly dull look opposed to crystal clear with a handful of scratches that stand out.
