Brand Lucky John started as a hobby. It brought together a group of people with similar interests – and the hobby turned into a business.
In 1988, Mr. Janis Stikuts – a multiple champion of Latvia and the Baltic States in different types of fishing sports – along with other fishing enthusiasts, decided, that every fisherman should be able to use high quality spinners, crankbaits and other spinning lures, which were a real rarity at that time. So they set up a small factory to start the production.
At the beginning, the product range was relatively small – 13 rotating spinners, each in two colors, 2 wobblers in two colors, 4 spoons, one Devon, 14 fly fishing flies, 8 winter lures, a few wind- rings and buckles. There was no absolute certainty, that the products will reach the market, but that’s how the Lucky John story started.

Les leurres Lucky John Tioga sont disponible en 4 tailles (2 ", 2.4 ", 2.9 ", 3.4"). C'est un leurre spécialement conçu pour la pêche à la perche, au sandre et au brochet ! Les plus gros modèles de ce leurre sont utilisés avec succès dans la pêche au brochet. La forme unique du corps assure la vibration de l'eau pendant le fonctionnement du leurre. Les nervures latérales renforcent l'action du leurre en ajoutant des mouvements vifs. Le leurre Tioga a un corps de ver avec un renflement caractéristique à l’avant et une queue plate. Les renforts proposés sont: une tête de jig, un crochet. Le matériau (silicone) à partir duquel le leurre est fabriqué est caractérisé par une force et une qualité extraordinaires. Le leurre a un goût distinct et l'odeur de maquereau, qui ne se conserve pas. La combinaison de précision, de silicone souple résistant aux dents d'un prédateur, d'un attracteur puissant et d'une large gamme de couleurs rend ce leurre universel pour tous les types de pêche des poissons prédateurs les plus populaires, tels que le sandre, le brochet ou la perche.

Tioga is a lure designed specially for perch and pike-perch fishing. The unique shape of the body provides movements in the water generating swings attracting a predator. The side ribs strengthen the play of the lure, providing it with «live» movements. The hybrid lure has a worm-shaped body with the typical thickening at the front and small claw-tail of the shad. The lure has the attractive smell of mackerel. Tioga 5.1 and 6.1 cm are the best lures for micro jig, it can be installed both on a jig-head and on an offset hook. Bigger lures Tioga 9.9 cm are perfect for classic jig, and Tioga 7,5 cm can be successfully applied to many kinds of different rigs with a lead. The smallest lures attract the attention of perch and ratan goby and other micro jig fish. Bigger models will get interest of pike and pike-perch. Scent&Taste Inside Formula ensures that after the biting the fish will keep a bait in the mouth as long as it is possible. It will always allow performing of timely and successful hooking.
