This listing is for a beautiful Sterling Silver Squash Blossom necklace with twenty-one (21) natural turquoise stones with seven (7) blossoms mounted on each side of the double strand beaded silver necklace and seven (7) mounted on the naja. Each blossom features three stylized leaves on each side with three hammered beads across the bottom of each and containing various shaped bezel set turquoise stones. Each silver bead is bench made and measures approximately 6 mm. This is a high quality Squash Blossom necklace although it is unsigned. Silver is unmarked, however, tests to be Sterling Silver.

The necklace measures 28" long with a 14" drop (not including naja). The naja measures 2 3/4" long and 3 1/4" wide which gives the necklace has a 17" drop. The turquoise stones vary in size and measure from approximately 3/8" in diameter (smallest) to 1/2" long and 3/4" wide (largest). Weighs 155 grams.

This necklace is in very good to excellent Estate condition although please be aware that the turquoise stones are natural and have normal inclusions and faint flaws. The turquoise is also hand cut with irregular shapes and sizes. The necklace is a vintage piece of hand crafted jewelry and reflects minor signs of wear appropriate with age. Silver has not been polished and has nice aged patina.

I still can't help myself when the opportunity arises to purchase wonderful Native American Silver and Turquoise jewelry pieces such as this impressive buckle. This necklace was purchased by the previous owner in the 1950's in Santa Fe MN.
