These pretty silver tone earrings from vintage jewelry designer Sherman shimmer with an explosion of premium vintage Austrian Aurora Borealis clear crystals. 

Multiple sizes of crystals are first wired to a perforated disc, then looped in layers of dangles that dance and sparkle with movement. 

The wired disc is covered with a solid disc that is signed 'Sherman' in script on a raised cartouche.

The clip on style earrings are also signed 'SHERMAN' on the outside of the clips as well as Pat. 156452 on the inside of the clips.  This patent is from 1949, issued to Frederick Moulson for the ear clip finding..you will find this clip used by the best of the vintage jewelry designers (Schiap is one).

The earrings measure approx. 1 5/8" H x 1 1/2" W with about a 1" depth of layered crystals.

These vintage beauties are in good condition with light wear to the backs.
