Size unfilled 760mm X 330mm.  (30" X 13") approx.

Size filled with sand 450mm X 280mm X 100mm. (18" X 11" X 4")

Weight filled approx 15kg.  

So quite heavy, be aware of your capacity/Health.

They are not full as space is needed for them to be moulded into shape to keep the space between each bag to a minimum.

Bags have been tied at neck.

Lay them in brickwork style. Stand on each one as they are layed to help bond them together. It would also help if you are able to use a strong plastic sheet.

Environment Agency has a very useful web site with information on how to construct a sandbag barrier.

Sand bags will not form a totally waterproof barrier especially against a forceful level of water, but it will help greatly and control the level. 

They should be covered and protected when in store and not in use.

We can deliver the sandbags, on our own vehicles, free of charge within Kent. Areas are covered on a rota basis, but will be delivered within 14 days of receipt of payment.
