Silicon carbide grit is an abrasive with a wide range of applications in industrial and engineering processes including cleaning, blasting, grinding, lapping and finishing. This is an 80 grade (coarse) grit.

80 grade grit is commonly used at the first stage of a rock / stone tumbling process in order to take the hard edges of the rocks, prior to moving onto the 220 and 400 grade grits.

• Quantities available: 100 grams, 200 grams, 500 grams, 1 kilogram, 1.5 kilograms, 3 kilograms or 5 kilograms.  

• Grit is supplied in re-sealable plastic bags.
