This is a Beautiful Yellow and Pink Iris's with Blue Leaves design Porcelain Vase made by Otigari of Japan.

The shape is what they call a flat vase or pillow vase because of the slim design.

The OMC label stands for Otigiri Mercantile Company. They were founded in 1954 and bought out by Enesco in 1994.

 

Otigari was an import company that operated mostly out of New York and San Francisco. They imported from a lot of different Japanese companies.

The blue mark on the Vase is for Kozangama (Mino). That's the factory OMC imported this piece from. The marks date to around the mid-70’s to mid-80’s.

The Iris Vase Measures:

  • 7" high
  • 1 ¼” wide diameter opening
  • 3” wide

Condition:

  • Very good vintage pre-owned condition
  • No chips, cracks, nicks, or repairs
