The Ward is the second installment in the 9 Clues series, in which a young detective and his partner respond to a distress call from a psychiatric hospital on a secluded island. When they arrive, the director insists no one has called for help. Shortly after, one of the hospital’s therapist falls out a window to their death. Not long into the investigation, the detectives stumble upon secrets so dark that they may be better left hidden. Each new clue only raises more questions. What's going on in Mnemosyne Asylum? Who killed Dr. Crow? What drove one of the nurses insane?  What secrets are the staff and the patients hiding?
