Sight of Day ist ein das Leben feierndes Album, auf dem die Band mit großartigen Titeln ganz neue Gebiete erforscht. Dabei werden sie von Gastmusikern wie Troy Donockley (Nightwish) und Anna Phoebe (Papillon) unterstützt Die musikalische Palette der Award dekorierten Mostly Autumn ist breit gefächert. Mit ihren Einflüssen aus den goldenen Zeiten des Rocks als Basis, haben sie einen einzigartigen Sound entwickelt, der die Essenz dieser Ära enthält, aber gleichzeitig in die Zukunft weist. Sie haben sich insbesondere mit ihren außergewöhnlichen Live Shows einen Namen gemacht und wurden unter anderem als ‘the best band you have never heard’ bezeichnet. Mostly Autumn sind zudem als Support für Blackmore's Night, Uriah Heep und Jethro Tull getourt und sind zudem als Special Guests bei Bryan Adams Murrayfield Stadium Gig vor einigen Jahren dabei gewesen. Allein diese Aufzählung sollte genügen, um das Kaliber der Band anzuzeigen. Bryan Josh ist eine seltene Gattung – eine extrem talentierter Gitarrist, der das richtige Feeling für einen Song besitzt. Seine schwebende Gitarre ist immer voller Emotionen und erinnert manchmal an die großen Zeiten der Gitarrenhelden wie David Gilmour ohne dies dabei zu überziehen. Leadsängerin Olivia Sparnenn ist ein wahres Talent, die Bandbreite und Anmut ihrer Stimme ist Weltklasse. Award winning Mostly Autumn s musical palette is diverse, they draw on influences from the golden age of rock, but have developed their own unique sound that both captures the essence of that era and yet looks forward into the future. They have earned themselves a name for their outstanding live shows and have been described as the best band you have never heard . Since forming back in 1996, Mostly Autumn have earned themselves a name for their relentless touring schedule and outstanding live shows. They have built a loyal and cult following since their first album sixteen years ago and in that time such luminaries as Steve Hackett, the late Richard Wright, and the late Jon Lord and the BBC's own Bob Harris are amongst their many fans. They have been personally invited by Ritchie Blackmore to support on his Ritchie Blackmore s Rainbow show at the Genting Arena and also as an acoustic duo to support Steve Hackett s Genesis revisited tour. Mostly Autumn have also toured as an invited support act to Blackmore's Night, Uriah Heep and Jethro Tull, as well as being special guests at Bryan Adam's Murrayfield Stadium gig a few years ago. That alone should give some indication as to the calibre of the band. Bryan Josh is that rare beast a hugely talented guitarist who knows how to play with feeling and for the song.
