They are dated Dec 19, 1954 stamped on the side.
There are metal plates on the soles.

This is a MATCHED PAIR and are in excellent condition
This is a nice old original shoe last form used in a shoe factory for manufacturing shoe.
These type wooden molds were used to build the shoes to the correct size and form as they traveled through the factory from start to finish.
They are made of Maple and are in really nice condition with a nice varnished finish.
A great piece of American industrial memorabilia and an interesting and decorative item for your home.
All measurements were carefully taken but may not be exact.
