This is a Fram oil change tool display board from 1954 or a bit later. It was made from masonite pegboard and used to display most of the tools that a shop might need to hange oil on a vehicle back then before spin on filters became common. I am away from where it is located righ now so I have to guess that this is about 20" wide by about 30" tall. When I get home in a few days, I will confirm these dimensions and update this listing.

This item is very nice overall original condition but I suspect it is missing some of the hooks that originally held the various tools. The third from the last photo gives you an idea as to what at least some of the hooks looked like. The last photo shows a detailed view of the back so you can see that the backs of the hooks were threaded and held in place with a clip nut.

I would love to know who made the tools for Fram for this display and if they ever said Fram on them or not. If they said Fram on them, I would be interested in finding any appropriate tools that are marked with Fram.

I can ship this anywhere outside of the USA using Priority Mail International from the United States Postal Service. I can ship it here in the USA most economically using UPS Ground or the United States Postal Service.

I have not been able to find any of these here on eBay in the last few months so they must be rather uncommon. This may be a rare opportunity to add such an interesting and unusual item to your gas and oil collection. Thanks a lot, Bob Woodburn in Bozeman Montana USA
