Large log slice 18" (40cm) x 4" thick with bark damage.  (also available with full bark, please look at our eBay shop) great for cake stands, centre piece, garden table tops & stools.  Sawn from English Larch timber from sustainable woodlands and managed forests with character and lovely ring and grain markings, either keep it as it is or smooth down by sanding. 

Approximate 16" diameter (approx as not always completely round)  x 4" thick. The log slice sold may not be the one in the picture but will be very similar as cut from the same stock of timber. 

YOU ARE BUYING A DAMAGED PRODUCT SO PLEASE ACCEPT THAT THERE MAY BE PART BARK MISSING OR DAMAGE TO THE BARK AREA. HOWEVER THERE WON'T BE ANY SPLITS OR CRACKS. 

Please note that greenwood can move slightly overtime which is a natural drying process especially in a warm environment this adds to its character and looks.  There is no guarantee that this log won't split over a length of time, treating with a few coats of  ether butchers oil (best for cake stands ) or boiled linseed oil will penetrate into the wood helping to nourish still giving it a natural look without varnishing or staining. Mildew can be a problem if not kept in the correct dry ventilated conditions. Please unwrap the log as soon as it arrives to allow the log to breath and read the instructions included.
