Last week the Perpetual winding Rolex signed cal 1570 movement with sweeping seconds hand was fully serviced (a $500+ value alone), it is running as it should. At that time the watch was thoroughly polished, satin finished on the link and lug tops, and ultrasonically cleaned. The case measures 34 mm wide excluding the crown (it's an average sized mens watch for the time period, current standards would be to call it a small mens watch or midsized, which looks great on ladies also). The winding crown is the original twin lock screw down crown with the Rolex logo. The crown screws down nice and tight. The case back shows no wear, tool marks, or pitting. The bracelet is period correct to this watch and based on the watches condition I am very confident that this is a 1 owner watch that was only worn on special occasions. It is a vintage "riveted" Oyster link stainless steel band in very good condition new new condition. It will fit up to an 8 inch wrist without adding links. Additional genuine Rolex links are $79 each if needed. The dial appears to have never been refinished and is beautiful.
