Vinyl Rib is soft translucent round ribbing that has many uses for segmented bodies for nymphs, stoneflies or ribbing wet flies.

The easiest way to use it smoothly is to tie it in at the thorax after heating and stretching the end. Then wind it to the end of the body, increasing tension to create a tapering thickness. Next step - secure with soft wire or monofilament ribbing as tightly as possible while under tension.

Flyfisherman's tips: Dip the length of Vynil Rib you are using in hot water to increase its pliability for tying in. Use a pliers to grip the end and stretch the rib to create a tapered length that is finer to tie in.

Each pack contains 3 yards of Vinyl Rib, Diameter of 0,02" (0,6 mm)
