AVU’s Cat6a Ethernet cables have a variety of uses. From use in server/network rooms for plugging between patch panels to situations that require more severe distances, AVU has the length and color you need to get your job done.
Cat6a was developed to achieve a maximum distance of 90 meters for full 10-Gigabit network speeds. This robust spec will afford you the extra headroom across your network that Cat6 cannot. The 500 MHz performance is double that of Category 6 and five times the bandwidth capacity of Category 5e. The extra performance is ideal for Power over Ethernet (PoE) and Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) applications where data loss is audibly and visually seen and heard. The latest draft declares a new measurement for Power-Sum Alien Crosstalk to ensure neighboring pairs do not cause disturbance to the other cables. The cable center isolator maintains strict pair separation optimizing NEXT performance. Our Cat6a patch cables are a complete end-to-end solution and are tested for compliance with all EIA/TIA-568-C Category 6 specifications.
Our Cat 6a cables are UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) patch cables with molded boots (Snagless installation) and extra protection for the RJ45 connector and clip. Cat6a cable includes a spline and ribbing to help ensure separation between the pairs which limits cross-talk. The connectors are wired to the T568B standard. The individual conductors are 24 AWG (American wire gauge) stranded pure copper. Cat6a patch cables are stranded to improve flexibility. Pure copper conductors provide the best signal possible. The RJ45 plug features gold connectors to prevent corrosion thus ensuring a longer cable life.

· To return items, obtain a Return Authorization (RMA) number via eBay. RMA numbers are valid for 30 days after the original invoice date of the order and cannot be extended or re-issued. We are unable to accept returns without an RMA number.
· Return freight must be shipped prepaid, and we recommend that you insure the package, as you are responsible for risk of loss on all returned packages. We also recommend that you make sure you pack the carton properly for return, as Audio & Video Universe will not issue credit for product damage en route back to us due to poor shipping practices. We do not issue call tags for product returns.
· Returned product must be clean, undamaged, and complete with all manuals, accessories, documents, and packaging. The items must be in a resalable condition free of any non-removable labels or writing on the product or product packaging, and the UPC code must be intact for you to receive credit. The product must also have with it upon return to us a copy of the original invoice or packing slip, and the appropriate RMA paperwork must be completed and in our possession (preferably with a copy enclosed in the box upon return). Products that are received by us that do not meet these conditions will be subject to additional charges and/or will not be processed as returns, and we will attempt to contact you to determine the disposition of these goods prior to their disposal.
