Antique Russian Brass Water Pitched Kumgan Tula c.1900

: Beautiful and very interesting antique coffee kettle made from hand-hammered brass tin-covered inside.

Nice elegant shape in Middle-Eastern style. Marked with Russian Imperial Double-Headed Eagle and the initials "K&M". I was not able to identify the factory, but the double-headed eagle is clearly the Russian one with St.George in the middle shield. These Eagle marks were usually used by several factories in Tula - the center of Russian Imperial brass production. Manufactured in 1850-1900.

There are some dings and an old repair on the side and some age-related wear. But generally in good antique condition.

It is 12" tall to the top of the finial.
