This listing is for a rare yellow ware/mocha ware master salt decorated with brown seaweed within a white slip decorated band, c. early 1800's.

Measures 2 1/8" high with a 2 7/8" diameter top. Weighs 3.6 ounces.

This nice pedestal base master salt a rich yellow ware body with the brown seaweed decoration encircling the body within a white slip band. Made in the Staffordshire region in England during the early 19th Century.

This master salt is in excellent Estate condition reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear such as a tiny nick on the foot ring which may be a small chip or a factory flaw. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
