THIS LISTING IS FOR AN EARLY 1900'S MOORCROFT ART POTTERY ACORN SHAPED SALT SHAKER. THE SHAKER HAS A BEADED/JEWELED BAND AROUND THE CENTER WITH A CREAMY WHITE UPPER BODY ABOVE A BLUE LOWER BODY. THE SHAKER HAS A THREADED SCREW-OFF PEDESTAL BASE. MARKED WITH INCISED "MOORCROFT, BURSLEM".
MEASURES 2 5/8" HIGH WITH A 1 5/8" DIAMETER BODY. WEIGHS 2.4 OUNCES.
THIS NICE SHAKER IS IN VERY GOOD ESTATE CONDITION WITH NO CRAZING, CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS. THERE ARE TWO BROWN DISCOLORED MARKS ON THE UPPER PORTION AND THE GLAZING ON THE TIP OF THE FINIAL IS WORN FROM NORMAL WEAR.
