Worry dolls There is a Mayan story that tells: when a person is not able to sleep well due to worrying, can express their worries to a worry doll and place it under the pillow before going to sleep. The worry doll is thought to worry in the person's place, thereby permitting the person to sleep peacefully. The person will wake up without their worries, which have been taken away by the worry dolls during the night. 

 This worry dolls have been handmade and ethically produced by a small community of women that live in the highlands of Guatemala. The selling of products like these permits them to have an income and therefore sustain their families.

Hand made by Mayan artisans these large size worry dolls feature a copy of the worry doll legend story and every doll is different (see the photos). These worry people make beautiful unique gifts for all ages.  

These dolls are approximately 5.5 - 6.5 cm long and the fine detail in them is stunning and exquisite. This listing is for one box with 4 dolls, any photos with more dolls or boxes are for showing variations of the product.
