Supplied on 240 micron PVC which is a strong media which doesn't tear like paper and is stoplight - this can be affixed to a wall/background using bluetack, tacks, or similar.

ARTWORK SETUP (IF SUPPLYING OWN ARTWORK):

  • Artwork to be set to 1/4 size minimum (Total Full Size 2000mm x 2000mm)
  • CMYK files (NOT RGB)
  • Resolution: 300dpi
  • TIFF, JPEG, PDF, Photoshop Files
  • Email or if too large then send via a file share website such dropbox
  • If you require assistance with your artwork design we offer a FREE basic design, or a small charge for more intricate/time intensive designs (just email us your specific requirements)

CMYK versus RGB:

If you design in RBG and convert to CMYK, no matter what conversion settings you use, your colors will shift when converted to CMYK for printing purposes. RGB has a much wider colour gamut than CMYK. There are millions more colours available on screen than can be mixed using four inks. Any out of gamut colours will be estimated to something that is within the printable range. If you are using bright colors on screen, specifically greens/blues/purples, you are probably going to be disappointed. This applies whether you are converting final images in Photoshop or exporting a PDF with print settings. RGB is colored light, CMYK is colored ink. Any screen shows RGB because it has to. There is no ink in your monitor. However, a good calibrated monitor will show simulated CMYK. Working in CMYK mode will not display electric blues or radioactive greens. The final printed result will be much closer to what you see on screen though remember your computer is backlite and prints are NOT. Therefore it is essential your artwork is supplied in CMYK format as we cannot be held responsible for colour changes if we are required to convert to CMYK to print your artwork.

This is NOT wallpaper so not requiring wallpaper paste as already adhesive on back of the graphics.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES - TO ENSURE THEY ADHERE PROPERLY TO SURFACE THESE MUST BE FOLLOWED:


Make sure to clean your surface with a dry cloth/towel right before applying, in order to make sure the surface is clean and dust free.

Please ensure if freshly painted walls that this has been left to CURE/DRY for at least 3-4 weeks before applying to the wall. Otherwise there are chemicals still be released that will affect the adhesive on the rear of the print.   If the wall is painted with a gloss or modern wipeable paint we recommend applying a solution of PVA sealant before affixing graphic.


Make sure you apply to a smooth surface (they will not adhere properly to uneven surfaces such as woodchip wallpaper etc)

If they are personalised then they are set to print once PROOF APPROVAL received and for the same reason therefore cannot be cancelled once this is progressed forward due to their being BESPOKE
