This figurine, which was released in 2005. It is part of the third year of "Kinder Choir." It has an incised 2002 copyright date, "Club Exclusive" back-stamp, Exclusive Edition, EE, 2005-2006 back-stamp, and TMK-8.

This figurine has the famous signature M.I. Hummel in the center like all his authentic pieces.  The figurine has the  Millennium Bee trademark TMK-8 Goebel decided to celebrate the beginning of a new century with a revival in a bee-adorned trademark. Seeking once again to honor the memory of Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, a bumblebee, this time flying solo without the V, was reinstated into the mark in 2000 and ended in 2008. Goebel stopped production of the M.I. Hummel figurines on Sept. 3-, 2008.

The artist full name is Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel born May 21, 1909.  These figurines depicts her love of children, animals, nature, and her deep devotion to the Catholic faith , which were introduced by Franz W. Goebel at the Leipzig Fair in March 1935.

The figurine is a bit dirty, I did not want to clean it as I was afraid to damage it. It is in perfect condition but does not have original box. This piece is valuable and will insure it to ship it.

Beware, there are a lot of fake Hummel figurines out there. Look for the Hummel marking on front of piece as well as the trademark markings underneath. This piece retails for $100, I am selling for $75.00.
