Retainer is a cast iron upgrade to replace the aluminum one that wears out
- Upgraded front bearing retainer ( AKA Quill ) for 1983-1993 Ford BW T-5 5 speed transmission using the 9 1/4" long input shaft.
- The aluminum one wears out usually where the throwout slides. This upgraded steel one fixes that issue.
- Will interchange with 1352-527-004, the aluminum base w/ steel tube version.
WILL NOT fit the 4 cylinder T5 with the retainer ending with 919
