Important Safety Notice: For your safety, we strongly recommend that this product is used externally only, as it is not gas-tight. It may only be installed internally if fitted above a registry plate, and even then, a working carbon monoxide (CO) detector must always be fitted in the same room to monitor CO levels. Installing internally against our recommendation is entirely at the buyer’s own risk. This unit is intended solely as a chimney soot and cleaning access point and is not suitable for use as a flue door or with pressurised appliances.

Please note: the appearance of the internal door may vary slightly, such as in handle shape or colour, but this does not affect performance, and the door is not visible once fitted.

While these doors can provide chimney access, many modern stoves are designed to be swept through the inside of the appliance itself. If you are unsure whether a separate access point is required, we recommend consulting a qualified chimney sweep or stove installer for advice.

This unit is made from heavy-duty cast iron, offering excellent durability and long-lasting performance even in high-temperature environments. The outer surface can also be repainted in a colour of your choice if preferred, although a heat-resistant paint should be used. Screws for securing the outer door are included, but fixings for installation into the chimney wall are not supplied.
