These filter sponge set are not Hozelock Originals, however they are manufactured to equal quality at a fraction of the price

 

 

Over time filter sponges will shrink and deteriorate though cleaning and maintenance. Replacing your filter foam sheets can help improve filtration. To maintain bacteria levels in your pond filter we advise that your sponges are cleaned using a bucket of pond water or rainwater. Water straight from the tap contains chlorines and other toxics that are harmful to the good filter bacteria that growth in your filter.

If you do need to use tap water to top up your pond or clean your filter, then we suggest using a de-chlorinator to remove toxins or filter primer to boost bacteria levels in your filter.

Dispatch Information

  • We will generally dispatch your item the same day if ordered are placed before 12 noon.
  • Items under 2Kg are usually dispatched via Royal Mail 1st & 2nd class deliveries which covers all UK address with a postcode including Northern Ireland
  • If the selected postage option is Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class then on average delivery times are between 2 to 7 working days
  • Please allow up to 10 working day on Royal Mail deliveries as delay do happen. Please also check at your Local Royal Mail collection office, with your neighbour and at the post office before getting in contact with us. Many items are being left in these places and calling cards are not being left behind.
  • We offer a courier delivery which is a tracked and signed service with 48 & 24hr options.
  • Please provide a mobile number for delivery notifications, we will send day of dispatch notification texts on courier order offering the option to change delivery days
  • Our courier pass on zonal surcharges for certain UK postcodes, please check for your postcode below as there may be additional charges if item is shipped via courier is the selected delivery method.
