It may not be an instant cure for your pet, from any fear whatsoever (this depends on the depth or complexity of their fear), but it should help to take the edge of their anxiety. A minority of pets may still be nervous but the Relax Blend will be helping them to some degree and should definitely assist as they recover from the stress, in a natural and gentle way.

Suitable for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, cattle - every type of pet or animal - large or small, young or old.

» For travel
For a short journey give your pet a few drops just before leaving and, if necessary, during the journey. For a long journey add drops to small treats and give 3 times daily in the few days leading up to travel. Also give during the journey, if your pet is stressed.

» Prior to a visit to the vets
Many animals find this a frightening experience so put a few drops on a small treat and give that to your pet half an hour before the appointment. If your pet is particularly frightened you may want to give a few more dosages, 10 minutes apart. (If your pet is allowed to eat and drink of course).

» After an accident
If your pet has injured him/her self then put a few drops on a small treat and give that to your pet. The Relax Blend is not a cure but it can help to take the edge off the emotional shock and trauma. (If your pet is unable to take treats see tips on our website.) The Relax Blend can also be used to help soothe your pet as they recover from illness or injury.

» During fireworks and storms
Add drops to treats and give every 10 minutes or until soothed. See more 'fireworks tips' on our website.

» Prior to a visit to the groomers
For some dogs a visit to the groomers can be a confusing and sometimes scary experience. So put a few drops on a small treat and give that to your dog half an hour before the appointment. If your dog is particularly frightened you may want to give a few more dosages, 10 minutes apart.

» For Show Nerves and 'Ring Shy'
Some dogs can find the hustle and bustle of the show ring all a bit overwhelming and scary. To help prepare your dog for the 'big day' put a few drops on a small treat and give 3 times daily, for 3 days leading up to the show. On the day of the show give a few drops whenever they are stressed. Relax Blend can help to calm horses in the show ring too. Your pet will remain alert and active - the Relax Blend helps ease the stress.

» For helping injured wild animals
If you find an injured wild animal give them a few drops of Relax Blend. For example, if you are caring for an injured bird, put one drop on their beak, every 30 minutes. This can help to take the edge of the emotional shock and trauma.

Q: What are the Pet Blends® ingredients?

A: They contain Flower Essences (Mother Essence Tinctures of CCFE and Bach Remedies), food-grade vegetable glycerine (used as the natural preservative), spring water, and 0.2% ABV.

The Bach Flower Remedies were discovered in the 1930's by respected London surgeon Dr Edward Bach and have been used worldwide for over 75 years as an established and respected complementary therapy for people and animals.

Flower Remedies are a non-fragranced product that is taken internally (please see instructions on bottle or visit our website or contact us by eBay message/email for more advice).

The Pet Blends® used by vets and trainers for over 25 years.

ABV means Alcohol by Volume. 0.2% ABV is a minuscule amount and is perfectly safe for animals of all types, breeds, sizes and ages.

The Pet Blends® and Flower Essences have been safely used by hundreds of thousands of animals for many decades.

Flower Essence MET is preserved in alcohol and 50% spring water, before being added as a few drops to the Pet Blends® bottle.

For nearly 80 years people have given neat Flower Essences to animals which can be up to 36% ABV, therefore just 0.2% ABV in the Pet Blends® is an extremely insignificant amount.

For example and as a comparison: significantly greater amounts than 0.2% ABV of alcohol can naturally occur in a human’s or an animal’s bloodstream through the process of digestion and fermentation of food [1]. And fruit juices typically contain a naturally occurring ABV of 0.1% [2]. There is little or no actual fibre of the Flower Essence plant in our Blends, it is the 'energy signature' of the plant - the pure 'Mother Essence Tincture' used as the active ingredient.
