You are buying a very nice vintage 8 X 10 B&W photo of the Wick Williams C-Modified Maserati 450S engine at the July, 1965 11th Annual Confederate Grand Prix, an SCCA race at Courtland, Alabama. Williams, of Chattanooga, TN, raced this car for many years. This car, chassis 4509, is the former Micro Lube Special owned by Ebb Rose of Texas and driven by Lloyd Ruby. It was then sold to J. Frank Harrison of Chattanooga, TN who then sold it to Williams. This is a true 8 X 10 with no borders printed at a photolab on archival photo paper from a negative taken by Bill Brannon, a photojournalist and regional editor of Competition Press (now Autoweek) in the 1960's. This photo has never been published before. Several of Bill Brannon's photos have been published in several recent books about auto racing. See my store for more auto racing photos from 1960's races at Daytona, Sebring, Road America and more. Buyer pays $3.85 shipping in continental U.S. Combined shipping on additional items. Thanks for looking!
