J.R. Watkins Company 120th Anv. Convention Happy Hanky 1988 (New)
Friends and Fans of the Watkins Company do we have a find for you! Up for grabs is, a very rare, J.R. Watkins Company 120th Anniversary / Convention 1988 Happy Days Are Here Again Hanky, New and Never Used. This Convention Tote was a promotion item for the Watkins Company available only at the 1988 Convention!!!!! These were handed out to dealers and distributors who attended the national convention in Winona Minnesota! This Cotton Happy Hanky as they were called! were Convention items and are marked 1988 and is in brand new condition. The happy hanky measures 13 inches wide and 15 inches tall, is made of Cotton Fabric with a silk screened graphic on one of the sides as shown in the picture, and has a stiched button hole. These are great pieces of memorablia that hold up to lots of use, and let you show your love for Watkins products at the same time! This Hanky is new old stock and about as mint condition as you can get for their age. There may be some minor variation from the above picture, but all items are similar in condition. Some may need to be washed or have dusty spots, these are all very minor and a quick wash and air dry should make them look very spiffy! Since these were a convention item, they were very sought after!
This is part of a very large collection of Watkins memorabilia that we have taken on consignment here at freeman photographic, and the consignors had been high level Watkins Distributors from the late 1970’s till mid 1990’s. There will much more to come, and all items were stored and cared for.
